Atwood is located less than 10 miles east of I-77 near the twin towns of Dover and New Philadelphia. The new public launch ramp is on Route 212 just northwest of the little town of Sherrodsville. If you're coming from the north on I-77, it's best to exit at Bolivar and take Route 212 through the historic village of Zoar. From the south, it's probably best to pick up Route 39 in New Philadelphia and follow that until you can turn left onto 212 just past Sherrodsville.
